If I write a blog on Kwik Trip, I know you'll all read it!
If you're reading this, you probably are related to me. If you're related to me, you probably think one of the greatest place created by God himself is the local Kwik Trip....am I right?!?!? I mean how else can you explain a place that sells sixty-four ounce sodas for $1.29 and three hot dogs for $1.19??? Got a K.T. card?? Well you just saved yourself up to 8 cents a gallon on your gas, thank you very much! I love it. And so do all Curtis'. So when I was driving back to Madison from Up North with my friend Clare last weekend, it should come as no surprise to you all that I made her stretch out her bladder from Wausau on down just so we could stop at the Kwik Trip in Stevens Point. You know the one, don't pretend you don't! So as I'm giving her my explaination of why this place is so great, I happen to mention how most of my family feels the same way. I mean, come on now, some of my fondest childhood memories involve my uncles and cousins taking me to get a 64 oz. slushie the size of my head and 3 hot dogs to top 'er off (maybe a Mr. D's on the side if there was time). Picture this now: Clare and I walk (some faster than others) into the K.T. and being a Curtis I get so excited I have to go to the bathroom. So when I came out of the bathroom at the Kwik Trip and saw Clare hamming it up with the guy next to her at the Cafe Karuba machine, it wasn't a shock to me that the guy she was chatting up was my uncle, TERRY CURTIS. I swear to you, my family is the only one who could bump into each other in the middle of the state at a Kwik Trip!

Kwik Card, check! The minute I saw the title of your post pop up on the side bar of my blog I clicked on it. You had me at Kwik Trip- say no more. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Kwik Trip!!! I also love the picture of the Big Guy, w/ coffee in hand, Skoog and you.
Possibly the BEST BLOG EVER! You should have titled it "Ode to Kwik Trip!" We used to live for trips up-north with Dad and Jack. Soda, candy, chips, ect. at EVERY KT on the way!
In September, My mom took Johnny to KT one day after church and he begged for a "Little Buddy" and she got him a MILK! WHO DOES THAT!? She def. doesn't have it in her genes like we do!
One more KT story. When my parents were coming to meet Geremu with Cullen (this is right after our return from Africa) they pulled into a Kwik Trip on the way and Cullen chimes in from the back seat, "Dis is Opiopia?" Apparently he thought he was going to Africa with my parents to meet Geremu.
Let's just say Love at first sight!
KTOL (Kwik Trip on Losey) Not only do they have milk but now you can get 3 apples/oranges/banana's for 99 cents---seriously who buys a 3 yr. old a little buddy at 8:30 a.m.
Three things:
1. I knew a KT blog would generate some buzz! Best response yet :)
2. On Cullen's behalf, I can see the Kwik Trip/Africa confusion since both are obviously such amazing places! Easy mistake.
3. I would expect people who buy their niece midnight apple fritters the size of her face to also buy a three year old a Little Buddy at 8:30am....after all, it's not a BIG buddy!
I LOVEEEE Kwikie!!!! They just opend one in Menomonie. I've been waiting for this my whole college career. The best part is I past it on the way to & from class everyday! To top things off they just had their grand opening...can you say FREE coffee or cappo ANY size, EVERYDAY last week?! & this week the same is true with pop! Mega Buddy here i come!!! I thought the fun ended there...no folks, St. Nick just sent me a little something something & it was a KT gift card! Could life get any better???

There also is a fabulous Kwik Trip the exit before Deforest---right across from Walgreens Distribution Center. Be careful at the entrance, it's tricky. Try the cheese filled bread sticks. No one can eat just one that is why they come 2 in a pkg. Wash it down with a KwikAde!

As I drove home for the holidays, I knew I was there when I saw Kwik Trip! There's no place like home.
Tonight the twins are officially on BREAK....how did we celebrate? You guessed it, about 11pm Callan came up those stairs and said "Kwik Trip run?" The place is just so warm and welcoming I always feel comfortable going in my pj's! (I get the impression the twins dont like it as much though)
