There she goes again...

Well, I've finally finished up packing and getting my last few errands done before I head off. The past couple of weeks have been a little crazy saying goodbyes, buying supplies, and sorting out everything from bank cards to taxes. But, here I am...again....heading off to O'Hare and 'peacin-out' of this country (is continental ADD a real thing?). Luckily, I learned a ton of travel knowledge from Africa last year so I'm WAY more relaxed this time around. The way I look at it, no matter how much planning you do there is still always going to be "something" that comes up. I'm just going to be ready to go with the flow. The next few days I'll be taking an orientation class at the University of Madrid to get a basic overview of culture, language, etc. I'll be living in the dorms for the first 14 days and after that, I'm getting the boot and need to be in an apartment. I can't wait to find an apartment...in Madrid....in Spanish...in 14 days. Hopefully my park bench will have Wireless Internet to update this thing if I don't find a place fast enough :) I'll still be using my bcurtis@wisc.edu email (or you can add comments to this page).
